Took me long enough ...

It’s been a while …

Confession: keeping diaries/writing regular blogs is something I have struggled with for a long time.

Finally, I have made the time and space to get the website a bit more up-to-date + put my fingers on the keyboard and write.

How did I do it? As I am not getting any younger and certainly not getting any more spare time – been busier than ever with work and life – health and welfare protocols are now being put in place. After a few health scares over the last 18 months that come with the ‘not-so-young’ territory, I have become much more deliberate with my care. This includes a personal fitness regime and scheduled downtime.

And the latter is exactly where I can stop enough to write this without work distractions and daily life priorities. UNSW Arid Zone Research Station at Fowlers Gap (an hour north of Broken Hill) is bliss.

So, what’s next when break time is over?
- complete work for competition entries
- completing work for a major event in September (Swell Sculpture Festival, Currumbin, Gold Coast)
- commissions
- getting cracking for a solo show in Sydney at the end of October – more on that later.

For now, please enjoy my latest works-in-progress updates on Instagram and Facebook, and have a wander through the ongoing updating of the website.
